I am dead impressed by this puzzle I discovered recently, called Futoshiki. It could be used after a lesson on inequalities to reinforce the meaning of the symbols, and also aid the development of logical thinking via problem solving.

Make a dodecahedron calendar

One of the books I have found most invaluable for creating activites for Maths Club is 1000 Playthinks by Ivan Moscovich. It’s full of colourful puzzles, problems and activities for two or more people. At the time of writing, it’s available on Amazon at £10.74 and I think this is a great bargain.
